We have just received some great news from our PR partners in the gaming industry, Slitherine! Recently, our writer Jonny Lupsha wrote an amazing review for Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Relics of War, where the game received an amazing 9/10 score. Here is a summary of the review:
Overall, Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Relics of War is a silky smooth and addicting strategy title. Proxy Studios’ first two titles have mixed reviews, but they have absolutely hit their stride with Gladius. To be completely honest, I just want them to do a sequel where you can play as four other races of 40k. Give me another game just like this but let me play as the Death Guard, T’au Empire, Adepta Sororitas and Adeptus Mechanicus (or Tyranids) and I’m in.
And it looks like his wish has come true! Slitherine have just informed us that Tyranids is coming in a new DLC in the next month. These planet-destroying creatures are here to eat everything in their path. And you will get to play them as a new faction to the game.
With both Jonny and I being huge Warhammer 40k fans, we are ecstatic to receive this news. According to Slitherine, the Tyranids will move in swarms, consuming their own cities once they are ready to move on. The creatures are controlled by the Hive Mind, which is an ethereal mental link to the army creatures such as the Hive Tyrants and Warriors.
Of course, fighting against this faction will be an absolute horror. Flamethrowers will be one of the many weapons needed to take out these hosts that will swarm your army with no mercy, eating everything in its path. Do you think you have what it takes to survive?
