PlayStation re-introduces a translucent design for the DualShock 4

It seems like nostalgia is taking over the gaming industry this year. Yesterday we announced here that Capcom is re-introducing Street Fighter 2 for the SNES and today, PlayStation is reviving an iconic controller design.
PlayStation Blog reported today that it is bringing back the beloved translucent controller series for the DualShock 4. The classic design, just as before, will feature a translucent top panel that shows the inner mechanisms of the controller. Wouldn’t it be fun to see how the thing that lets you interact with the game works inside?

“The three colors will be available later this month as retailer exclusives across the U.S. and Canada. You can pick up Crystal at GameStop (EB Games in Canada), Blue Crystal at Walmart and Red Crystal at Best Buy.”

Check them out here, and pre-orders for the controllers are already available today.
