Technology has grown by leaps and bounds over the last few years. The introduction of Virtual Reality has transformed gaming into a more interactive experience than ever, which is why the hugely popular board game, Settlers of Catan, is coming to the Oculus Rift and Samsung Gear VR.
Experiment 7, Asmodee Digital, and Catan Studio are all working together to create the VR version of the classic board game. Details are limited as of now, but players can expect to play against Catan personalities or from other players around the world.
The trailer didn’t reveal much about the game. However, it showed Klaus Teuber, the creator of Settlers of Catan, and his son Benjamin, who fully supports this new form of experiencing the classic board game.
