Project Hospital is Isometric hospital management game. That allows you to control your very own clinic to hospital. The tutorials the three campaigns, and the challenges do a fair enough job teaching you all the basics and some advanced things

Gameplay:
The game play is solid across this game. It stays smooth even under extreme conditions of having lots of patients and doctors running around the screen. It is a very easy game to pick up and put down with tons of replayability. The games starts you out with a series of tutorials , campaigns, and challenges and a sandbox mode if you just want to dive in and start click on things to see how it goes. Even in sandbox with out even getting into the tutorials you can design a semi function hospital with in game help and objectives In game help menu (Gears upper right) Clicking them walks you through the different menus showing what to click and explaining it.
The graphics are all Isometric style so this is not 3D like other titles out there. Though this style of gameplay in this gener works for me. You do have the ability to zoom and rotate the map that helps with building and object placement. You can also adjust how the walls are displayed all down, all up or front down and back up.
There is plenty of things to do in building a full functional hospital. From all the different departments and layouts.
Building and Designing:
The overall building comes in different styles you can start in any number of them. You can use the department tools to layout different areas with out first doing a foundation this will create building plan that help you move stuff and lay out with any cost to you. You can also just by building a foundation and wing it and then move stuff later, this will create some bugs and issues but all of it is mostly mangable. The last method is using the prefabs to just plop things down, add some filler walls and boom done.
Employee Manager:
With this there is some good and some bad. Good first and all the bad we will put below in weird and strange grouping. Hiring employees is just the click of a button. You can see names skills and some stats. Some Advantages and Disadvantages and icon the shows hidden perks. Just like that you have Daytime and Night time Employees.
This last play through in one of the campagnes I have employees showing up drunk, Seems all I can do is fire him.
Weird and Strange:
Building and Design: Sometimes if you have to move or delete room undeletable artifacts remain like wall shelving. You also have to take care moving rooms, that some times walls stay behind so if your only moving something a few feet and the wall stays you will have to delete it later. Adding floors is only done through one menu can’t just drop an elevator and go to town like your playing the sims.
Employee Manager: If this ever happened in hospital for real all kinds of problems that would happen is just insane. The employees have set shifts , Day/Night there is no cross over meaning at shift change everyone leaves before the replacement shows up. Also everyone seems to take breaks together countless times all my nurses are in the break room chilling out. Cleaning staff and Zones, this is another thing the entire cleaning staff moves to the same location to start cleaning. All of them, yes the one area gets clean quickly but really if we could set zones that would be awesome. Like only public areas or only Offices.
Verdict:
A solid 8 of 10 for the Gameplay / Graphics , Replayability and ease of play with no experience. Even the stuff that falls into the weird and strange doesn’t break the game enough to make it at all enjoyable to play.
Thanks again to Oxymoron games for providing us with a key to play the game.
