What is the best Rocket League Car for beginners?

There is only one car that can be recommended for beginners. That car is the octane. Due to its Balanced dimensions, it makes for the perfect starter car. This is also a great car to grow accustomed too early on. because it remains the number 1 pick at the professional level!

The dimensions of the Octane makes it the perfect starting car.

Starting out

Jumping into your first game of Rocket League. you will notice that you have a severe lack of the dynamics of in-game mechanics. At this point in the game pretty much all of the matches will be spent on the floor. Don’t panic! This is normal.

During your time getting used to the game, the Octane is there to compliment this learning curve, With it’s added height leading to a more forgiving car, Whilst also having enough width and length to allow you to learn the more progressive mechanics.

Coming in at Number 5 is the Fennec. This, much like the Octane. Is a very well balanced car, that doesn’t excel in either width, Height or length. But that also means that it also doesn’t have any weaknesses either.

Warning: This video contains foul language.

The most notable Fennec professional player in the world is G2’s Dylan ‘Rizzo‘ Rizzo. He is most known for his ability at being a great utility player. Doing a lot of the defensive Duties, allowing for his team to transition quickly onto the offensive.

4.Batmobile

The Batmobile is a very wide and long car with great turning. However, it gets caught out by its lack of height if not used correctly. For more advanced players it is a great choice, leading to some neatly controlled aerial dribbles. Or some pinpoint shooting.

As a beginner, I’d avoid the Batmobile. It may seem great when played on the floor, but once you gain the confidence to chase the ball up the ramps you’ll find yourself getting caught out by the ball’s tendency to at times pop a little bit off the wall. Driving straight past it. leaving you and your team in a rough spot.

The most popular professional to use the Batmobile is Italian ex-world Champion Francesco “kuxir97” Cinquemani. A great all-round player who’s instant decision making can turn a dangerous opposition attack into a remarkable goal by Kuxir97 within seconds.

3.Breakout

Number 3 on this “rocket league 5 best cars” list is the Breakout. Being the longest car in rocket league results in it being a great defensive car. Allowing the more advanced player to cover more area when challenging for the ball. For a beginner I would not recommend the Breakout as playing on the floor is not where this car specializes.

Currently, no pro solely uses the Breakout. But popular Freestylers such as Ganer preach that the Breakout is the best car for Aerial dribbles and scoring those fancy goals.

3.Dominus

The Dominus is a solid car, the biggest advantage being the precision of the shots due to its wide nose. As well as the front hitbox allowing for very forgiving, stylish aerial dribbles.

The most notable professional player to use the Dominus is Remco “Remkoe” den Boer. Who’s extremely calm character allows him to attempt brave new mechanics on the cuff, even on the world scene.

Don’t preach such crap to all the new players… Teach them about the differences instead to make a good, well informed decision.

Include things like how the Fennec and Octane have identical hitboxes, yet have slightly different turning radi and such minor things.

Articles like these just drive home points to newer players that has been proven time and time again to be subjective.
