Trailer: Motion Twin Announces Dead Cells For PS4, XBO and Switch

Game developer Motion Twin has informed us that their current game in development, Dead Cells, will be coming to PS4, XBO and Switch some time later this year. This wonderful trailer was sent to us today, which we just had to share with all of you, as I am quite excited to get my digital hands on a copy.
While the game was still in early access on Steam, 600 000 copies were sold. And Motion Twin cannot wait for console players to give it a try.

“We’re thrilled to finally confirm that we’ll be bringing the Dead Cells experience to console players. We’re proud of what we’ve done with the help of the PC community and can’t wait to see how the gaming community at large react. We’ll be at Pax East next April, so come say hi! You might even get a sneak peek at the game on the console.” —Steve Filby, Producer at Motion Twin

So what is Dead Cell all about, you ask? According to the developer, Dead Cells is a rogue-lite, Castlevania-inspired action-platformer, allowing you to explore a sprawling, ever-changing castle… assuming you’re able to fight your way past its keepers. To beat the game, you’ll have to master 2D “souls-lite combat” with the ever-present threat of permadeath looming. No checkpoints. Kill, die, learn, repeat.
Here are some screenshots that were shared with us:

Those games who have PCs can still pick this up for $19.99 on Steam. As we receive more updates on this game, we will bring it to you here fresh on AIR Entertainment. So stay tuned. For more information on the game, can visit the official website, Twitter, and Facebook.
